This is the best iTunes Video Library solution ever!
I have been deployed for a long time and this is the best solution ever for my iTunes library. I have to say that this program is simple… I drag the .AVI files from my old PC Hard drive over to iFlicks and it auto-magically converts it to apple tv format and inserts it into my iTunes. I have a 5TB hard drive full of programs most not in iTunes. This awesme program converts the files over, places them in iTunes and deletes the .AVI file off the drive. I’ve yet to have a hiccuup or loss of any program.
I am able to catch up on entire seasons of programs that I have missed.
I will say that the conversion is a little slower than handbrake, but handbrake has left me with files that have had video problems where the words do not synch to the mouth movement. I’ve yet to find anything that has been less then perfect with iFlicks.
Jendrick is the most responsive developer I have dealt with… he runs a tight ship and this is a rock solid program.
Transfer of the videos to my iPhone and iPad have been flawless. I spend quite a large amount of time in the doctor’s office as well and being able to take my programs with me so I can watch them on the bus and in the waiting rooms has been a godsend.
Since I purchased this program three weeks ago it’s been chugging along without rest as it is converting a mountain of my video files. I’m a recent MAC convert and the only thing that gave me the blues was that most of my video was in .AVI format. Thanks now to iFlicks my .AVI’s are being converted over and iTunes properly cataloged. It is ingenious, and intuitive… I love being able to find my files on the menu from iTunes or my Apple TV.
I can’t thank the developers enough as they also responded quickly to a question I had on the program. As a former programmer / developer myself I can say that if they are working ont this for a significant amount of time $25 is a fair price. For those who rely on the free programs look at how long it’s been since they were updated. If you want a good program to be developed continually then one must pay the developer for their efforts.
Thank you for making such a quality program.
