Please Fix!!!

While I love this app and have used it for my huge collection, I am really annoyed by this recent update.
I understand that some people may prefer squared TV art. I prefer to have rectangular cover arts so I can conserve space horizontally.
What I don’t understand is that the app forces the rectangular cover art to become square by putting whitespace on the sides (alpha=0).
Please fix this so that I don’t have to see gray boxes appear around my cover art in itunes. It really annoys me. Please fix this soon.
