If you have iFlicks 1, don’t upgrade! Ripped off :(

I like iFlicks. I paid for the first version and regrettably, I paid for the second version after reading some reviews that it would be worth it. It was not. $5, sure, $10? Maybe… just. If you never owned the first version, then a good product. If you already own the first version, don’t waste your money on the upgrade. This is a minor upgrade with some UI changes, NOT worth being charged all over again. I feel VERY ripped off.

Is it different than iFlicks 1? Not really. It has a slightly different user interface, but really nothing different.
Is it faster than iFlicks 1? A little bit, but nothing major.
Is it worth paying for an upgrade? A definite NO!
Will it find meta-tags better? No, it still doesn’t find half the pretty common movies I look for.

I hope the creator of this app feels a bit repentant and offers a rebate to original owners for a minor UI change.
